USA, NJ: Nomad Brewing Co. scheduled to open in Lumberton in January or February

Lumberton residents longing for a cold, craft beer — one made with local ingredients, of course — can finally rejoice: A new brewery is scheduled to open on Ark Road as soon as January or February, the Burlington Country Times reported on November 19.

Construction is about halfway complete on Nomad Brewing Co., according to business partners Damien Leonti, of Hainesport, and Rich May, of Lumberton.

“It’s kind of a rustic and industrial look with a relaxed atmosphere,” Leonti said on November 18 about the new brewery and restaurant at 106 Ark Road. “We’re just looking to have a real local community place.”

The brewery will offer locally sourced food and spirits, and Nomad Brewing already has a working relationship with Red Top Farm Market on Route 70 in Southampton, according to Leonti.
